From Joe: Mom's spirits are still up, but you can tell that she is tired and weak. Her blood pressure has been all over the place and her temperature is still too high (fluctuates around 100-101).
I won't get into the politics and red-tape that we've been going through at the hospital, but suffice it to say it's been much more stressful than it should have been and that she is now where she needs to be.
We were finally able (with the persistent help of a nurse) to get Mom moved back to ICU. The oncologoy nurses were doing all they could, but she needs much more attention than they were able to give her. Now that she is in ICU and considered 'critical', she has constant monitoring of her vitals.
In about 4-5 hours, they were able to get her blood pressure back up to a safer level - the last I heard it was around 116/56ish. They are also starting to kick the antibiotics up a notch in an effort to combat the sepsis. So far the blood cultures have been negative, so they're not sure which specific antibiotic will do the trick. Hopefully something will clear up here soon.
She has been getting her blood checked every morning (4 am!) and as of this morning, her white blood cell count is still at 0.1. We've yet to get any more details around this, but again with the politics...
I have been forwarding on all of your 'get wells' and comments, so please keep them coming. Of course, keep saying those prayers for her as well (and maybe throw in a little extra emphasis for her sepsis!).

All my hopes.
