Since she has stabalized over the past two days, she has been upgraded from 'critical' condition and moved back to the Oncology Ward. She is able to get up and move around, although you can tell it takes a toll on her as her blood oxygen saturation drops right away and her breathing becomes labored. She is wearing an oxygen tube most of the time now to help that out.
She will no longer be getting an antibiotic drip starting tomorrow, so it seems that the fight against the sepsis has been successful. She will still receive a shot of Neupogen tomorrow (or Neutrogena, as Dad calls it) to continue boosting her immune system.
We met with her Oncology doctor this evening and (obviously) her next dose of chemo will be delayed until some time in March. Right now, the focus is to get her back to good health, although she is certainly well on her way.
