From Julie: I talked to Mom this morning & she sounded much stronger. Her breathing is not quite as labored, although she is still on oxygen. Her white blood cell count is still on the rise & came in at 3.82 this morning. She is still being treated with the Neupogen because they ideally would like her count to be a 10.0. That seems like a lofty goal to us, but her Oncologist said her counts should start going up "like an elevator". They are also still giving her antibiotics, but hopefully today will be the last day for those. Her blood pressure is steady around 120/70, which is pretty normal for her, so that's great news!
Dad told me something the other day that I believe is very true:
God knows we are faithful, so He doesn't "test"us.
He merely provides us with opportunities
to learn & grow in our faith.
As Joe has said on previous days, Mom appreciates all of your well wishes, thoughts & prayers. Our family has been through the ringer the last couple years as we have been given lots of these opportunities, but our faith is stronger than ever.
Thank you for continuing to be a part of this journey!

Janet,
I was so shocked when I called and talked to Susan Alvarez this morning! She told me you were in the hospital. I hadn't been on the Blog Page since last week and couldn't believe it. I just got up to speed on what was going on and I have been praying for you every minute since then.
Please get better and home quickly and I am anxious to visit when you are feeling stronger. Please let me know if there is anything you need. I love you and you are in my thought and I will pray harder than ever to get you out of the hospital and home!
Love,
Lyn
