We went to see Dr. Lambert at the Cancer clinic Friday and he said: "very favorable news". He went over the 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional scans and in a nutshell the results were about a 90% reduction of mass of tumor. For a "remission" there has to be 100%, so I will still have to go through 6 more treatments. My 3rd round will be March 7th. I told him....thank goodness there was a good reduction, as I almost died doing it! I know I will be nervous about the white count lowering after this next round, but the doctor did say he would be doing blood work earlier this time for peace of mind.
We thank all our friends and neighbors who are bringing food...what a blessing. And a big thank you to all the neighbors who have snowblowed and shoveled all winter long. We have received many cards, gifts, giftcards and money......and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts...
It has been a rough 3 months, but we will get through it! ~ especially because we have so many people praying for us....thank you.
I feel a little better each day now. I am eating again which is helping me gain strength. Jeff is struggling a little bit as he has some abdominal pain near the surgery site. He will see his doctor on March 6th, so we will see what is going on there.
For now...Happy Saturday!
Love, Janet

I am SO glad you have had some great news, sorry that you still have to go through more chemo though.
Please pass on my wishes to Jeff as well, tell him to take it easy. I'll be thinking of the teo of you and 6th + 7th March.
