Guess when I was writing in the blog on Monday morning, I should have been at the doctor/hospital already!! Dr. Lambert has strictly advised me that when my temp gets to 100.5 that I need to be calling him.....not 101.5 or 102.9! I don't think I will have to worry as Jeff, Joe, Jen, Julie and Kay will make sure of that. Dr. Lambert also said I must NOT drive myself. Guess I really messed things up. The thing I didn't realize is that Joe reminded me that I told the world I had a fever but ommitted to tell my family......oopps....I must be careful. ALSO DR. LAMBERT (my oncologist) ESCAPED A PICTURE.......AGAIN!!!
The pictures above are of the 3 other doctors that took care of me.
#1 - Dr. Hatahet, Intensivist
#2 - Dr. Litman, Internal Medicine
#3 - Dr. Fitzpatrick, Critical Care Medicine
I always manage to get the best doctors.....I am a lucky duck! They all took such great care of me and explained to me things I didn't understand.
The rest of the pictures are of the RN's that took care of me in ICU and after. One pic of me and Joe snuck in there too! Also 2 of when I was having a heat meltdown with my cold washcloth on my head!
Guess I will know better next time (there better not be a next time) but man when those white cells drop....they drop fast! Amazing what chemo can do! Anyway, I am home and glad to be here.
From Our Family to Yours, have a HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND! Love & Hugs, Janet
