Day 158 ~ My Sanctuary

I don't have to travel anywhere to feel the quietness and sanctity for prayer and reflection. It is in my own backyard. I sit on the deck and look around at the flowers and the beauty of it all and watch the birds flit in and out of the trees and bird feeders. Whenever the Hummingbird or Oriole come to visit, I always believe that God sent them at that moment while I am outside at that time. I look in to the clouds......and pray. We are fortunate that we have a little portion of our yard fenced in as it creates an outside room for privacy and convenience of letting our dogs out to play. If I had the time I would be out there more........I just may make more time as when I am out there in the sunshine.....I feel that I am being healed also.

Today I will take my mom to the grocery store and on a few errands. Then I can come back home and hopefully get my computer desk in order and then tonight I am taking a scrapbook class. Our little Anna will be coming tonight also for 2 days. I hope she is feeling a little better from her surgery. I can hardly believe that on July 3rd that she will be 6 yrs. old.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it - Psalm 118:24
