Day 233 ~ Jeff passed through to Aspirancy

Jeff did indeed pass through to the Aspirancy year for becoming a deacon. Thank the Lord! The waiting had become a nightmare for us both. He found out last Friday morning. Congrats to Jeff!! Out of the 26 men that had the interview, only 16 moved on. Whew! ~ I am glad that is over for a while. School starts for Jeff this Thursday night. Jeff and a friend Dale (who also passed through) will be going every Thursday night to Milwaukee for the entire school year. Jeff & I and Dale & Lucy will go to Milwaukee for instruction every other Saturday for the school year. So I guess there is work ahead for me too.

90's today and humid, so I guess I will break down and put the air conditioning on today. Plus, we took down the pool...so there is nowhere to cool down. :( It is a grand day out there right now.

I go to the doctor today for a pre-op for next weeks surgery on my sinus. I am a bit nervous as some people who have had it done have told me horror stories from their experience of the surgery. Great...I needed that.

I am also getting my hair cut today for the first time! We decided I should keep it short for now. Besides it is great for riding in the convertible! LOL LOL
