It was a strange day for me today. I got another one of those shots in my foot again today. I get one every 2 weeks to deaden the nerves in my left toes due to a neuroma. Then when I got home I was so tired that I had to lay down. I don't know why, but the past week or so I have been so tired all the time. Maybe it is the change of seasons?
I need to make myself another list to get some things done around here, inside and outside. I do better with lists, I guess it makes me feel good to cross off jobs that I get done. Jeff will work long hours this week due to it being the end of the month so I don't have to worry about cooking etc.
Today it is also the first day of fall and leaves were falling from some of the trees. I hope we have a long fall and a dry one too. I want to be outside more and have some campfires at night. I know Anna wants to camp out with Jeff at least one more time this fall. After the last time when they had to come inside because the zipper broke on the tent, he promised her they would camp out again. We have the new tent and sleeping bags now, so there is no excuse. Hint hint Jeff.....!!
Love, Janet
God, Outdo Me in Generosity
Give and it will be given to you, full measure, pressed down, overflowing. (Luke 6:38)
God will never be outdone in generosity!
Here's how it works: As you give generously to people in need, God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others....Yes, you will be enriched so that you can give even more generously (see II Corinthians 9:8-13).
When God finds a giving heart, he will pour out generously too, because he knows he has found someone who will help him fix our broken world; someone who will become the Gospel in action and bring honor and thanks to God.
