Day 294 thru 297 ~ Anna's new dress!

Wow....Jenny finished knitting a dress for Anna. She sure does good work....and fast. Just thought I would share pictures of it as Jenny is so talented.

Anna got her flu shot today. Well, before we went....I thought it was the end of the world! She had a meltdown...for about 5 minutes. When we got to the clinic, she was totally fine, just a bit nervous. She insisted on watching what the nurse did and how she gave the injection. She is like me that way. I like to know everything before it happens. Glad that's over until next year. I still have to get my pneumonia shot this week. I go on Tuesday for a CT scan for my cancer and then go to Dr. Lambert on Wednesday at the Cancer Center for results. Then on Thursday I go to my arthritis doctor. It is going to be a jam packed week. Friday, I think we will go to the Scrapbook cottage and work on Christmas cards all day like we did this past Friday. There were 5 of us and we laughed a lot and still got much accomplished.

I am in my glory as I am listening to Traditional Christmas music that is playing throughout the entire house! I just love it...this is my favorite time of year. I am sure it will be off though when Jeff comes home from work as he is not ready for it to be Christmas just yet.

Have a great Sunday and remainder of today! Love to all.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them.” Romans 8:28

Sometimes it is difficult to understand God’s plan for those of us who put our trust in Him. Sometimes God doesn’t make His ways so that we can fully understand them but the verse above still rings loud and clear. If we are going to truly believe this verse, then we need to know that God is truth and what He says in His word is truth. Sometimes things will happen that we cannot fully understand what good might come from them … but God knows … He is in control. God has a reason and a purpose, but that doesn’t mean that you or I will fully understand what that good might be. Try as we might, we cannot control God. He controls our future and we need to walk through difficult times by faith and trust, and not by our feelings. Father in heaven, sometimes it is so difficult to understand why things happen as they do, yet we have Your assurance that in all situations, You are the One in control. We put our complete trust in You and in Your plan this morning, and we pray that You will make our way clear for us today, as we walk in the shadow of Your hand. You are the Anchor that will never fail us.
