Day 315 & 316 ~ Thankful......

This picture was taken in Key West a few years ago. It was a healthier time for us....however we are most thankful for what we have and that "health matters" are getting better. I was just "thinking" this afternoon while I was cleaning and getting ready for tomorrow and feeling a little sappy remembering all of our past Thanksgivings and how as we get older they mean even more to me.

Today...I am thankful for my awesome and loving husband Jeff. He is the love of my life...I LOVE YOU JEFF....and I thank the Lord that we met and had our first date November 28, 1970.

Some of the most important things I am thankful for are:
  • thankful for my health & Jeff's health
  • thankful for the health of my family & friends
  • thankful that my brother had a prostate check that led to the finding that he has a GIST (form of cancer) and he will have surgery in December.
  • thankful for my children & their families
  • thankful we live in a loving, caring neighborhood
  • thankful we have a roof over our heads & food on our table.
  • thankful that we have a loving God watching over us.
  • thankful to know we count each day of our lives as the greatest blessing we can ever realize in our lives.

"No, O people, the Lord has already told you what is good, and this is what He requires: to do what is right, to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

~ Micah 6:8

It is good to appreciate that life is now. Whatever it offers, little or much, life is now – this day – this hour.
