Oh, we had fun! Actually, Anna's mom helped too...she took the pictures. We made cutouts, green almond trees, cream cheese wreaths, p-nut blossoms & molasses....and there was flour all over the place. You can see it all over Anna's black shirt! We made a cutout of her hand too.....later she decorated it. You know those little colored balls that you decorate with, well......Anna talks with her hands a lot (just like me) and a container of those little buggers spilled to the floor! They were everywhere!! They rolled out of the kitchen and in to the living room and also in to the family room...all the way to the fireplace. I think I have vacuumed them up 3 times and I still feel them when I walk in stocking feet. Tomorrow I am going to have to actually have to wash the floors. We definitely had a good laugh over that! Especially when it happened, my immediate reaction was "now start picking them up". Jenny laughed and said "ya right" 10,000 little balls! We just had to laugh. I never knew cookie baking to be so tiring...we spent 2 days doing this and I am ready for some serious napping.
Oh, by the way.....we have got over 10" of snow in the last couple days. It is sooooooo cold and windy. It is below zero....brrrrr.
Other than cooking, I think I am finally ready for Christmas. We are celebrating with the kids on the 27th & 28th. We have had to tighten the belt, but it is being with family and friends that counts most. Church will be at 10:30pm Christmas Eve.....we chose this Mass as the adult choir will be performing and I love the singing and music.
Take care.....God's blessings, Janet

This is a place where I have shared and still share my continued cancer journey with Non- Hodgkin's Lymphoma and Jeff's prostate cancer. It is a place for us to share our daily lives and offer some inspiration to you. We praise the Lord that we both have celebrated more birthdays.
