Luke & Anna visit G'ma & G'pa

After the hard work of coloring....the two little ones had to have a graham cracker break! We sure had fun watching Luke & Anna play together. They both are growing up so fast. Even Anna was pooped out chasing Luke around the house. Julie & Luke had to cut their trip a bit short due to the rain/sleet/ice/snow storm we had. We ended up with about 7 + inches of snow from the storm. It was a tough drive for Julie going back to Illinois but once she hit Milwaukee, it was fine.

Saturday night we set up one of those blow up beds in the living room and Julie, Anna, Jenny and myself had a little
pj party. We watched a movie etc. We all fell asleep before the movie was over (except Jenny). Julie made popcorn in the Stir Crazy that was really good.

I need to go out of the house to do errands today....I hope this is the last snowstorm we get this year! Under the snow is all the ice. (and we all know how
graceful I am!)

Having some issues with staying awake today...darn, I do not like that feeling.

The SUN is shining and it is a glorious day! Let us be thankful for that.

Hugs,

Everything changes...except for God.

Our children have grown and left home. They all have their own wonderful families now.

• Our home address has changed several times.

• Friends change but God always supplies new precious friends.

• Careers change and our responsibilities change.

• Our Pastors from our church change, move to other church's.

• Our hobbies have changed with age.

• Our bodies change - our looks change.

But God does not change!

What a secure feeling to know that although our lives and circumstances keep changing, God is always the same. He never leaves us or forsakes us. He always leads, guides and protects us. He never gets old, tired or hard of hearing. He never gets sick. Not only does He not change, He is always present. He is always faithful. His love endures forever. Our God is amazing!

Father, what a comfort You are. Knowing You means security and peace. Thank You, thank You! Amen.
