Day 10 ~ the Journey...

I really felt bad yesterday, had low back pain - constant and a headache. I had fun going out to lunch but then going to church too was WAY too much. Guess I can only plan very short outings from now on. I guess I am going to have used to the idea of "cat naps" because it seems I cannot stay sleeping in the night. I sleep for an hour, then I am up for an hour, then back and forth all night. I did find that a heating pad on my back did let me sleep a little longer....and oh, the recliner is better than the bed.

OMG...found a product for my mouth sores....called Orajel Mouth band-aids! Yes, you heard it right...Jeff didn't want me to buy them as they are $1.00 per band-aid. But I bought them anyway and wow...they work! I have sore on the side of my tongue that is almost the size of a dime...it hurts to talk. Well, I put what looks like an aspirin white thingy on to the sore...it sticks and then sort of dissolves into the sore...I wore it all night and had no pain with that sore. It's a miracle!

It is almost 9 am and I actually feel okay this morning except for the flu-like symptoms. Oh, my other lifesaver last night is that I started taking Darvon every 5 hours. Woo hoo....took some pain away too. I WILL GET THIS DOWN TO A SCIENCE YET! lol lol

Well, it is Packer Sunday and I think it's going to be another "ice bowl". Actually, Jeff was at the original ice bowl with his dad and brother when they were kids. Temps are below zero without the windchill this morning and it is supposed to get even colder. Brr...I'll stay inside by the fireplace and heating pad! Have a Blessed Day! Janet
