From Joe: Mom is still in the ICU and seems to be stabalizing. She needed to get a blood transfusion during the night, but she says that she feels much better now.
Her blood pressure has been pretty consistently around 110/60 and her fever seems to have settled down. She sounds much better today and has been able to get some more solid food down.
One big improvement: her white blood cell count is up to 1.0! She still needs to get it up to at least 4.0, but this is still a big improvement considering it was 0.02 when she arrived and 0.1 yesterday morning.
There is some talk about the sepsis coming under control, so we are anxious to see if that's true. Looks like those prayers are helping - keep 'em up! I'll update this again tonight if there is any other news.
