Day 39 - TIRED!!!

Greetings and Salutations......

Just a little tired today. Of course, I didn't sleep with all the coughing I did all night. Other than major mouth sores...I feel really good.

Went to see the cancer doctor yesterday and my white counts are normal and the platelets are rising. I am skipping this Friday's chemo and having a CT scan on the 28th to check if the first 2 treatments did anything. Then I will see him on the 29th for the results and go from there. The plan is that the following week, March 7 will be Round 3 chemo. It will change from R-CHOP to R-CVP. Basically it is removing the "red devil". However, it is the red devil that allows a longer remission. So, we will just have to go with the flow!

Did you notice that daughter Julie put music on my blog and son Joe put the Lymphoma Ribbon of Hope at the top of the page. I think it is really cool. My kids are all so giving. Joe gave me this little glass bubble thing with an angel in it. I start out holding it at night but always manage to lose it in the bed. Don't have have pockets in the jammies either. LOL

When I came home from the hospital...there was a candle in the bathroom, very pretty one....and NO ONE will fess up to putting it there. I have to do some more detective work!

A little boy, Ty (3 yrs. old) needs prayers as he has been diagnosed with leukemia. He is a grandson of one of our "Hopper's Hood" neighbors. Message to Ty ~ Hold On Tight, We Won't Let Go! We have many prayer warriors out here. Godspeed.........

Love, Janet
