Day 84 ~ I have cancer, It doesn't have me!

I posted new pictures to the slideshow.

My doctor appointment is today, not yesterday! Good grief! It is even written on my calendar. With not working, I simply do not know which day it is. I have to get a life. Only 3 more chemo's, thank the Lord.

Kay took me out for lunch yesterday and it was so good to get out. We went to Ala Roma's - YUM!! I did a couple errands, then was tired and had to come home to rest. I just figured that having 2 extra weeks between chemo that I would feel good enough to do my old regular routine....NOT!

A positive attitude is the one characteristic that all successful people have in common.

Today is supposed to hit 50 degrees, I am so excited, I am going to fill the bird feeders just to get some fresh air.

I have cancer, it doesn't have me.

Have splendid day! Love, Janet

Hope is one of the greatest gifts we have been given by our Heavenly Father. It carries no price tag but its value is priceless. We cling to it when the future looks uncertain and praise it when things turn out better than we could have ever imagined. Hope is the foundation on which we build our dreams and aspirations. It has been the cornerstone upon which ordinary people have accomplished extraordinary things.

Hope will always endure.

Hope on the Horizen

Do you know what Hope is?
It’s magic and it’s free.
It’s not in a prescription.
It’s not in an IV.

It punctuates our laughter.
It sparkles in our tears.
It simmers under sorrows.
And dissipates our fears.

Do you know what Hope is?
It’s reaching past today.
It’s dreaming of tomorrow.
It’s trying a new way.

It’s pushing past impossible.
It’s pounding on the door.
It’s questioning the answers.
It’s always seeking more.

It’s rumors of a breakthrough.
It’s whispers of a cure.
A roller coaster ride
of remedies, unsure.

Do you know what Hope is?
It’s candy for the soul.
It’s perfume for the spirit.
It’s having faith that, someday.
There will be a CURE for it.
