This is a picture of me back in 1961 (I was 9 yrs. old). I have the white bunny, Thumper and my friend Heidi has the black bunny named Ebony. She just sent me this picture....she must be way more organized than me with pictures! (Guess we only had black & white camera at that time) I have been trying to find Heidi for over 30 years. I knew she was in California but "where"? Her sister sent her the article that was in the paper regarding the benefit and Heidi posted on the Hoppers website. I was so excited! We have now emailed and have a lot of catching up to do!
Well...I guess I was sort of bad today, I went to church and to breakfast. We went with friends and I had a great time. Tomorrow I will find out if my white count is any lower.
We can hardly believe the love and support of our friends, neighbors, family and others regarding the cancer benefit. It boggles our minds. We are humbled for sure. Everyone we meet says "we're coming to your party"!
