Day 133 ~ A look back to April.....

This picture looks back to my last chemo in April. The chemo nurse is getting ready to hook me up via my port in my chest. We are so fortunate to have the Wisconsin Central cancer clinic in Fond du Lac, it makes it so nice not to have to travel to another city. All the nurses are so nice, kind and informative. These chairs recline, and I usually slept through half of the chemo. You can't see it in the picture but there is a pull down TV to watch. There are also private rooms.....which is probably a good thing for when I am snoring! LOL

I went back yesterday for my re-do on my mammogram and after 2 mammograms, an ultrasound, another ultrasound, and another mammogram, the doctor decided I could wait another 6 months and do another mammogram and ultrasound to see if there is a problem. So, hopefully I don't have breast cancer too. Prayers requested please?

The kidney problem seems to be doing better and I really think that was a result of the chemo. I'll keep you posted!

It is really weird because usually we have all our family home on this holiday weekend and we will be alone for the 2 days Jeff has off. We hope to do some "mulch" fill in repairs to the yard. Hope the weather is on our side. The kids are all coming home the following weekend as our
anniversary is the 27th and Jeff's birthday the 30th. I think we will have a BBQ.....and celebrate at home.

For all of you who are traveling this weekend.....please be safe.

Love, Janet
