Day 235 ~ Jeff's Surgery...Again!

Yes, he does look cheery...he is on happy drugs! The second picture is of the surgery girls coming to get Jeff and take him to never-never land. LOL He had a Cystoscopy and Ureteral Stent surgery for a kidney stone.

He is home today and doing well. The doctor, during surgery was putting the
stint in the kidney and bladder, when the "stone" flipped back in to the kidney. It was a good news, bad news thing. Good news is the stone is not stuck in the ureter, bad news it is back in the kidney! So, tomorrow he has to go for a Lithotripsy (spell???), where they try to break the stone up. Depending on the results, in a couple of weeks he will go back in the hospital for surgery again and the doctor will go in to the kidney and remove the stone. I think he'll be glad when this is all over.

So...that our life in a nutshell right now.

God's Blessings,
Janet

God the Master Physician
Exodus 15:26
He said, "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his sight, and give heed to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you."

God's Healing Love
Psalm 107:19-21
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress; he sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction. Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

God Removes Sickness
Exodus 23:25
You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.

Hi Janet,
I have been resting from a long weekend at camp, but it was such a blessing over the labor day weekend. I put some pics up and you can see your name on the prayer table where we held 24 prayer all weekend long. I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff in surgery again, I hope all is well and the stone is gone, I hear it can be very painful. Give him my love and tell him we are praying!! Hugz Lorie
