Day 242 ~ It Really was a Beautiful Summer!

The above collage is a collection of flowers from our "yarden". God really has provided us with a wonderful palette of colors, smells and beauty. We are so fortunate to be able to step out in to this beauty every day and reflect and watch the ever-changing sights. We get so excited every time we see a hummingbird, butterfly, dragonfly, or special bird in our yard coming to eat, drink or splash in the water.
I love that God (with my help in the gardening) provides me with all his special colors. Soon the colors will change and we will have a brand new palette of color for fall. I look forward to that too.

My post-surgery on my sinus etc. is going well....except I cannot breathe through my nose. It sort of feels like I have a broken nose. The dripping blood through my nose has ceased, so I do not wear the nose mitten at all. However, the blood is dripping down my throat instead.....ick. Hopefully that will change soon too. The doctor said 10 -14 days......I am not that patient....I always think I can be better...NOW. Oh my..I have to remember patience is a virtue!

I read this affirmation from an email I received the other day.......I think it would be good for everyone to practice.

Today I change my focus by championing a new cause. I am the ambassador of positive thinking. I spread health, wealth, love, and happiness wherever I go. I love watching how my positive statements dissolve negativity in others. I am my own instrument of renewal of positive energy, and my positive outlook is stored deep within me. Every positive statement I make is rewarded.
