Hello Friends,
Much of the misery in this world comes from unrealistic and unfulfilled expectations. We cannot appreciate the goodness and beauty of a person, situation, or thing, if we cannot first accept them for who and what they are. And we cannot receive the grace and joy that comes with gratitude if we cannot first appreciate the goodness and beauty.

As we rush to make last minute arrangements for the holidays and send last minute gifts, while still keeping up with all the things we normally do to keep home and hearth together, it is easy to get over tired. When we are tired, every little disappointment or loss gets magnified.

It is also easy for our troubles and worries to get magnified as we see others being happy and celebrating good fortune and good friends. Worry and loneliness can block our peace and joy.

Our unrealistic expectations, over extended schedules, and worries can undermine what would otherwise be another joyful, abundant holiday in paradise. Yet, when we take the time to stop striving and let it be, when we rest up a little and reach out to the people around us, acceptance, appreciation and joy have room to flood in. So this holiday season, head the wise words of the Beatles and-

Let it be for a Peaceful and Joyful Holiday



Affirmation
When I find myself in times of trouble, worry, overwhelm, and frustration, I take a deep breath and Let it Be for a while. I create a base of peace that helps me see the Love and Joy in my world.
