Day 164 & 165 - Beautiful Day

Gorgeous day today! We have Anna for 2 days and we are having fun. We picked up my mother and sat outside on the deck and watched Anna play. (on Monday - 1st picture)

Today is another beautiful day. I think we will spend time outside again. It is time to trim some bushes and water the flowers. Anna is a good helper. She wants to put the pool up too.....so maybe we will have to do that too. It will take a while for the pool water to warm up enough for us to go in to it.

I am feeling well, except for the normal tiredness, It usually hits me around 3:30pm or so and then I have to lay down and give in to it.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Prayers go out to the family of our friend Luke Martin who passed yesterday from a battle with pancreatic cancer. May he find joy and peace with Our Lord Jesus.

An Attitude of Gratitude

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings.

Love, Janet
