Day 261 ~ Brewers go to Playoff's

Had to post the exciting news that the Brewers won the wild card position to be in the playoffs. Our son Joe, bottom picture, is the guy on the left. He has so much fun attending most home games....a true blue Brewer fan! The Milwaukee Brewers are in the playoffs for the first time in 26 years!

The Milwaukee Brewers are the new playoff darlings capturing the National League wild card berth with a regular season ending 3-1 win over the NL Central Division champion Chicago Cubs Sunday at Miller Park. Area fans are revved up for the Brewers, who hadn’t been to the playoffs in 26 years and are lovable losers no more.
“It’s great to see the Brewers make the playoffs."

Now, for Jeff...he is feeling MUCH better! He is tired as it is the end of the month for selling cars. Today will be brutal for him...no time for taking lunch or anything. Tomorrow will be a new month...thank goodness!

I am dealing with being major tired! I fell asleep talking to my mom on the phone yesterday. I slept most of the afternoon and I felt like I was drugged. It is a horrible feeling, like I had no control. I hope today is better.

Julie's in laws (Fred & Liz Lafnitzegger) came from Northbrook, Illinois for a few days to golf and stay in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Then last night they spent some time with Jeff looking at a car. I met them at the dealership and then they took me out to eat for dinner. It was really nice talking with them for a couple of hours.....of course we solved all the world's problems...LOL

Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

Is case you were wondering there are 86 days until Christmas!
I look forward to decorating the house for Christmas, it is my favorite time of year...listening to music and lights on the tree and the fireplace aglow. This year I want to make an effort to get more of our friends over for a Christmas visit.

Happy day to all....Love, Janet
