Day 36 ~ The Medical Healing Team

Day 36 ~ The Medical Healing Team!!!!!
(Click on pictures below to make bigger)
Wow...what a journey! Started off with just getting my white cell count tested and ended up in in ICU with a blood pressure of 60/30 (bad) and no white count or platlets, fever etc. I was one sick puppy. Thought I was going to die. But the fighter in me said "NO", I have way too many things to do!! ~ and my Valentines weren't finished!

The doctors, nurses and medical team I had was supurb! Every precaution that could be made was carried out. My onoconolgist,
Dr. Lambert was out on conference when this all happened, but when he got back, he jumped right in.

I personally thank Dr. Thomas Kunkel (third picture from left- top row) for saving my life. His expertise, wit and professionalism and bedside manor and caring disposition got me trough a nightmare experience.

There were more nurses that helped with me, but during my hallucinating times...I forgot to take pictures. I loved each and every nurse I had.

Yep...they even respected my "shy bladder". Of course they had to cheer me on on...just like the potty training days of long ago!

Symptoms today are only a little lightheadedness....tired but very happy to be home.

THANKS FOR AL THE PRAYERS.......THEY WORKED...Love, Janet
