This is a picture I took last spring of a butterfly on my "Miss Kim" Korean lilacs. The lilacs smell is so potent, that people passing by on the sidewalk always stop and ask what the great smell is. They line the entire side of the garage. Looking back at pictures, I chose this one as a reminder that spring WILL be here soon.
I did go to Target and a retirement party yesterday. I know I was bad for doing it but I had to get out before going insane! Pray I don't get sick! It was so good talking with my co-workers...and I miss that. So, onward.......
I am going today to the gastroentologist (spelling)per orders of Dr. Lambert. Will let you know what that is all about later. Won't get the results of the breathing test I had until Monday.
Jeff left at 6:15 am this morning for a men's group that pray together for an hour. It is very uplifting for him.
I am a bit tired today and will try to get some rest after the doctor appointment...I'll be a good girl today. (as everyone was scolding me yesterday!)
"It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High:
"To show forth Thy loving kindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night."
(Psalm 92:1-2)
God be with you....Janet

Hi Janet,
your miss kim is beautiful! i have one too, bought her when hubby was deployed and the poor gal had to be moved four times, due to having a deck built to surprise him on homecoming, and to keep him from mowing her with the lawnmower once he came home!! LOL
anyways, she is in a safe spot now and has leaf buds already, so i am hoping she will bloom for me this year!
i Pray that your tests all go well today,, and you feel up to getting out more often now. just remember to take thiose germ busters with ya! ;)
today is sunny and warm here so i am going to pick up my parents and get them out for awhile too. once warm weather is here to stay it will be easier to do that.
Have a wonderful day
Hugs Holly
Holly, yes I love the Miss Kim. I could take a chair and just sit by it!
It is sunny here but cold, 35 degrees. So, no going out yet. Darn, the weathermen just can't say when we are going to have some 60's or 70's. Last year at this time we had 70's. Not too much is budding here yet.
Hugs, Janet
