Hello....
Oh...yesterday and today are very good days. Sunny, hot and a great day for the pool. Anna is swimming like a fish, it is hard to get her out of the pool. We spent 2 1/2 hrs. in the pool yesterday and my guess is that it will be the same today.
The above picture is of myself and Ed. Ed is the one I see weekly for pain & stress management. Ed is a psychotherapist and a very nice, kind and knowledgeable guy. He is teaching me how to breathe right and relaxation methods when dealing with stress full situations ~ and also how to deal with my pain and my cancer. I never have gone to anyone like this before and I started after my chemo treatments. Thank You Ed!
Tomorrow is the our local Relay for Life in Fond du Lac. Our team is called "Hopper's Hood" and the theme this year is "Survivor" ~ Relay Island, VOTE cancer OFF! Jeff's brother donates our team shirts. His business is called "Mark Hopper's" Silkscreen & Awards. Wait until you see our shirts....they are sooooo cool! Jeff & I are honorary chairmen for the Luminary Walk and we give a talk on our experience with cancer. We have some where around 60 walkers on our team. Last year we raised almost $4,000. for the event and this year we hope to raise more.
Anyone interested in donating, email me at jjhopper@gmail.com
and put the word relay donation in the subject line. Thank you. We can accept donations all year. I will give you the address to mail $ to.
Well, as I am feeling great today....it is 8:30 am and I should get going and get some work done before it is "pool" time.
God's Blessings to you All......Janet
LIFE.....
Handle with Prayer.....
In times of great need,
Remember that prayer
Can help you find comfort
in the good Lord's care.
With eyes of gratitude, I see the beauty around me.

Repeat this affirmation ten times (even if you don't believe it!) and continue to do this throughout the day. You may be surprised. |
