Day 219 & 220 ~ Tired or What?

My friend Kay & I were in the pool with Anna. After about an hour, Anna climbed up on my back and I took her for a long ride around and around the pool. After a while, she felt heavier and more limp....sure enough, she was asleep! I guess she really was tired!!

I started a sinus infection again...saw my doctor yesterday and got an antibiotic as in 2 weeks I have my sinus surgery. The lab reports on my kidneys are good and so are my red counts. So, it looks like I can be pretty good for the fall of the year.... yippee!

Our son Joe is so funny, he has a web cam set up on his new dog so he can check in every hour to see what the dog is doing.
LOL I check in now too...just to see it! LOL Poor baby dog, no privacy.

Everyone is so busy with the back to school shopping.....I am glad not to have to do that anymore. Although Anna had me look at some things for her....and I gave in.....of course.

We still have not heard back from the
diaconite program regarding Jeff's acceptance to the program. It is like waiting for a medical issue...it is just not fair. Our schooling starts in 2 weeks if we are accepted.....it would be nice to know. Not sure what the hold-up could be, but it sure has been stressful. Guess we just have to keep on praying for good results.

Anna went in to work with Jeff this morning. She went
there yesterday too. She sure likes it. When I got her home yesterday, she played car salesman....what a hoot!

Love to You all, Janet

ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING
by Jim Rohn

The process of human change begins within us. We all have tremendous potential. We all desire good results from our efforts. Most of us are willing to work hard and to pay the price that success and happiness demand.

Each of us has the ability to put our unique human potential into action and to acquire a desired result. But the one thing that determines the level of our potential, that produces the intensity of our activity, and that predicts the quality of the result we receive is our attitude.

Attitude determines how much of the future we are allowed to see. It decides the size of our dreams and influences our determination when we are faced with new challenges. No other person on earth has dominion over our attitude. People can affect our attitude by teaching us poor thinking habits or unintentionally misinforming us or providing us with negative sources of influence, but no one can control our attitude unless we voluntarily surrender that control.

No one else "makes us angry." We make ourselves angry when we surrender control of our attitude. What someone else may have done is irrelevant. We choose, not they. They merely put our attitude to a test. If we select a volatile attitude by becoming hostile, angry, jealous or suspicious, then we have failed the test. If we condemn ourselves by believing that we are unworthy, then again, we have failed the test.

Aaahhh...how precious for Anna to fall asleep in the pool. What a privelege. I think if I fell asleep my dead weight would sink me. haha

That is funny about your son keeping an eye on his dog.
