Day 221 ~ From Skimming to Sleeping

Anna worked hard skimming the pool of Birch leaves and gnats! She fell asleep early last night due to all her hard work. Today we had a really busy day as Anna went to work with grandpa for 2 hours and then I picked her up and we drove 45 minutes to the dogs vet for the Bordetella nasal treatment. Yes, we took all 4 dogs!! The vet said I was the entertainment for the other people in the waiting room as I tried to untangle myself of 4 leashes! I must have been temporarily insane to do this. Never again! I was exhausted! On the way there, Lucy (Anna's dog that I inherited) vomited all over the clean stack of clothes in the back seat. Had to pull over for that incident! Then Anna's other dog, Ginger pooped on the floor at the vet. That was after the nasal treatment, which she hated , by the way. I think it was revenge. :(

Then I stopped at Jeff's work and we switched cars. Jeff took the dogs home and Anna went with me to my arthritis doctor's appointment. The doctor said my arthritis is getting worse and suggested that I stay on the Fentynal pain patch, only use it ALL the time and up the dose to 50mg and in 30 days up it to 75 mg's. I think I'd be a zombie at that strength....????? The kidney doctor has it listed on the computer that I have chronic Kidney disease and that I cannot take the Darvocets and Vicoden's anymore. I can take Darvon. Oh boy...think I will start all that next week. :(

On a brighter note, we are going to a wedding tomorrow in Door County, Wisconsin, about 2 1/2 hrs. from here. We are truly looking forward to the mini vacation. We'll check in later. Until tomorrow..............Hugs, Janet
